Archway Recovery Services is home for sixteen men at a time who enter the recovery program to get a new start on life. Most come from backgrounds of abuse and neglect and have used drugs and alcohol as coping mechanisms for years, often even as young children. The men graduate three to six months later with jobs, self-esteem and a clean and sober place to live. Most importantly, they are reuniting with their families and are giving back to the communities they once harmed. |

"All of us here know that addiction is a terrible thing. It
plays no favorites in gender, class or race. It robs you of
your family, friends, your job, home and health. But more than
that it takes your morals, values and eventually your will to live.
I am one of the lucky ones. Since I came to Archway all that
has been restored to
 me. I regret my past and am sorry for the
things that I have done and people that I hurt. I am making
amends to my family and the community to the best of my ability.
